Sue's Sentiments

I’m gonna post here some of my favorite cards I’ve made. I have been working on my techniques and learning as I go basically. I LOVE my cuttlebug! it’s really boosted my creative potential.

The first one of my favs is this one.

I made this using bkgd. paper from K & Co. In addition, I used a new stamp (to me) that I received as a gift from a friend. it’s from Stampin’ Up.  I also used my Marvy Uchida Puffy Velvet Fabric Marker to add some detail and a sheer pink ribbon to finish.  The maroon CS is just standard CS.

Another one of my fav’s I created recently is this card modeled after a card created by Sharon Johnson

I thought sharon’s card was very elegant and wanted to achieve the same effect. However, I couldn’t

quite figure out how to emboss horizontally.

I used my CB, CB embossing folder~birds and swirls, Dark Green CS, white GP CS and light green sheer ribbon from Details. Lastly, I added the sentiment from Treehouse stamps~everyday sentiments and stamped it onto ovals created with my CB and oval nesties finishing it off with some silver brads for detail.
