Whimsy stamps challenge 7-a recipe~

Isn’t this little guy the cutest?? this is one of the stamps I won from Denise at Whimsy Stamps. It’s also one of the latest releases. I decided he would be perfect for the challenge this week going on at the Whimsy Stamps Challenge blog. Please visit the blog for all the details and to participate. You do NOT have to use whimsy stamps in order to play. The particular requirements for this one was to use 2 different DP’s, 1 ribbon and 3 embellishments. I chose to try something a little different as well and googled and came across this site. From there, I was able to create a card that I feel reflects the perfect layout for a monkey. The DP is from Inque Boutique. The base CS is Prism. The corduroy buttons are SU. The ribbon is from Michaels (I think) and the monkey image of course is from Whimsy Stamps. In addition, the sentiment is WS as well stamped onto some brown chipboard that I distressed with my MM distress block with Timber Brown Stazon ink. Furthemore, the image is colored with prismacolor pencils and blended with OMS using a blender stump.TFL!

Has it been that long since I visited you? You have been busy busy busy. Goodness I’m slacking. Not enough hours in the day darn it. Anyway. I love the colors here I must try them. And this as a whole is fabulous of course.
